CREST International Spell Bee competition is conducted for students for classes 1 to 8. It is India’s first online spelling evaluation and helps students assess on the basis of word meaning, spelling, and pronunciation in English. As a result, it will assist students in fostering their vocabulary development, which would be the foundation of the English language. 

Below mentioned are Spell Bee competitions in which you can participate:

1. CREST International Spell Bee - Summer (CSB)

  • CREST International Spell Bee (Summer) is designed to be conducted in two levels of exams.
  • Students must complete an objective-type test in 60 minutes.
  • Exam fee is Rs. 225 for students enrolling from India, for the students studying outside of India, fee is $15 (US Dollars).

2. CREST International Spell Bee - Winter (CSBW)

  • There is only one level exam conducted in CREST international Spell Bee which is conducted generally in the months of January to February every year.
  • Students are required to complete a multiple-choice question test in 60 minutes.
  • A team of English Language experts designed the assessments.
  • Each student will be given a free trial.
  • The examination fee is Rs. 225 for students enrolling from India, for the students studying outside of India, it’s $15 (US Dollars).

What’s the difference between examination patterns for CSB & CSBW?

1. CSB exam is also divided into two sections:

  • Section 1: Spelling Bee (55 minutes)
  • Section 2: Rapid Fire (5 minutes)

2. CSBW exam is divided into two sections:

  • Section 1 (55 minutes): Spell Bee - Multiple choice questions
  • Section 2 (5 minutes): Question-based on audio. The student must hear the sentence and write the requested spelling. 

CREST International Spell Bee is open for participation to children of classes 1 to 8. Students can come from any school in any country in the world.
